I've been thinking about what I need to be doing with my life and career. I have a bit of a change planned. It's not a big one, but I think it will make me much happier in my chosen career of library science.
But I don't want to be just some librarian somewhere. I want to contribute to the profession and actually do something beyond the four walls of my own institution. So, how does one go about that?
Well, it seems the most common first step (based purely on anecdotal evidence, of course) is starting a blog. So, I think I may just repurpose this blog into something of value.
Any thoughts or suggestions? Is there a niche that needs to be filled by yet another blogger?
Is anyone still reading this anyway?

I still read, babe. You're on my Google Reader. xo M.
I don't have any suggestions about topics, but I do read your blog. :) Good luck.
I'm still around, but I'll have to give the question a little thought. I've actually quit reading library blogs altogether and only look at tech and digital humanities blogs.
I'm here.
