I CANNOT believe one of our classmates asked what "N.B." means. And another one responded with "no brainer."
Mark, it was very nice of you to give her a straight answer. If you hadn't already responded, I might have said something snarky.
I always thought that was general knowledge. At least for anyone with a degree.

Thanks, Katie. I was kind of surprised at that, but on the other hand, how many people use "i.e." with knowing it stands for "id est"? Better yet, think of how many times people mispronounce "et cetera".
Now I regret having said anything--it would've been fun watching you go all Catholic school on their asses.
P.S. I emailed Elizabeth about those Ref Bib questions.
